Hornets are rare in Finland, The ones that do exist are likely to be 1970 models. This is because dealers imported many of them in 1970 and sold them all the way through 1973 "As New".

The Hornet can be seen in the 1974 James Bond Film, "The man with the Golden Gun." Visit ArcticBoy's Hornet Nest for pictures.
AMC did use some parts from other car makers, but it was less than 15% in any given model year.
When creating the Sportabout 4-door station wagon for 1971 AMC also had plans for a new pickup, based on the Hornet called the "Cowboy".
The AMC seven main bearing six cylinder engines found in the Hornets were generally recognized as the sturdiest on the market, perhaps the best!
